Starting today, we’re bringing Venmo Touch to more platforms with a private beta release of Venmo Touch for Android and an iOS 7 compatibility update. Earlier this year we re-invented the first time checkout experience on iOS by creating a one touch purchase experience that worked across native iOS apps. Now, we're making the same one touch purchasing experience possible across multiple devices and platforms.
The Android release of Venmo Touch incorporates feedback we've received from our iOS partners as well as enhancements and learnings since the initial launch of Venmo Touch at the beginning of this year.
If you'd like to participate in the Venmo Touch for Android private beta, please contact us.
We are also releasing a new version of Venmo Touch and the Braintree iOS SDK, compatible with iOS 7. It includes a number of usability improvements and makes single tap checkout even more seamless for your users. (NOTE: you must upgrade to the latest SDK in order for customers to be able to use saved cards from Venmo Touch inside your app.)
Please continue to send us feedback and feature requests about the SDK, as your input has been a huge part of how we've driven the product development to date.
