Do Good and Be Merry

At Braintree we are very passionate about giving back to the community.  Every year in December we have what we call the ‘Do Good’ challenge.  Employees are divided into teams and given 2 hours + $200 to do the most good.

Our Menlo Park office bought toys for the local Fire Fighter Toy Drive. Our Menlo Park office bought toys for the local Fire Fighter Toy Drive.

Another team poured through hundreds of letters to SAnta at the Chicago Post office.  They chose one family who seemed particularly in need and bought everything on their list! As a whole company we also sponsored 5 homeless youths through the Teen Living Program.  I was overwhelmed by the amount of donations and presents we received from the team.  After we got everything on our teens' lists, we had enough money left over to buy candy, gift cards, and other little extras.

At our holiday party everyone pitched in a hand to help wrap. At our holiday party everyone pitched in a hand to help wrap.

Once all of the wrapping and do gooding was finished, we went to Market for some fun, food, and quality time with each other.  After all, it’s been a long year and we deserve some celebrating!!
