Pinterest Launches Buyable Pins with Braintree

In our ongoing effort to help merchants connect with consumers wherever they are looking to shop, Braintree is teaming up with Pinterest to offer Buyable Pins for its mobile Pinners. The feature, which will be rolling out in the coming weeks, deepens the connection between merchants and consumers on the Pinterest platform and, coupled with Braintree’s payments stack, is a major step in the evolution of mobile commerce.

In addition to enabling a seamless mobile buying experience, security is always paramount. The collaboration with Braintree means that payment information entered while shopping on Pinterest is stored securely in Braintree’s vault.

We carry our smartphones with us everywhere we go, using them to communicate, consume content, shop and even Pin. Now, with a few taps, those Pins can become purchases.
