We’re excited to announce that Braintree is now in San Francisco! We’ve just set up shop at the historic Phelan Building at 760 Market Street, right across from the Four Seasons and just down from the Apple Store on Stockton Street. We can’t wait to make use of our new space to expand the Braintree and Venmo teams.
As we accelerate our efforts to simplify and kickstart payments for small developers and the next wave of game changers like Uber, Fab.com, Airbnb, LivingSocial, HotelTonight, and Angry Birds, we want to stay as close as possible to the action. That means more hackathons, impromptu product feedback sessions, pub crawls, and Giants games -- whatever it takes to help every developer in town get up and running with payments. Fast.
We’re also assembling a world class team - people who are smart, passionate about helping start ups and great companies succeed, and folks who are fired up about redefining an entire industry of payments infrastructure that’s become antiquated and a source of frustration for technology companies. We aspire to make making and receiving payments a simple and frictionless experience - one tap at a time.
