At Braintree, we always strive to offer the latest tools and solutions our merchants need to deliver seamless commerce experiences. Today, we are excited to announce that Apple Pay on the web will soon be available through our SDK.

With just a few lines of code, merchants will be able to quickly and seamlessly integrate Apple Pay into their web checkout process [1], expanding what was previously only available on native iOS apps. As one of the newest solutions on the market, merchants in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, and the UK will be able to offer greater flexibility of choice to their customers and better checkout experiences overall.

Braintree has always partnered with the most important players in our industry to improve our merchants’ commerce experiences. Our partnership with Apple is a testament to this, and one that we’ve been proud to build upon since launching Apple Pay for iOS in 2014. We’ve also since offered Apple Pay as a payment method in Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, and the UK, opening doors to global commerce for our merchants.

If you would like to learn more about accepting Apple Pay on the web as a payment method, check out our docs or contact us directly.
